Nasal Refinement

Men seeking refinement of the nose often have associated breathing difficulties. The nasal broad nasal tip, long hanging nose, a prominent or angled doral bump and wide nostrils are most often conceived as problematic. These areas can be carefully corrected by endonasal surgery. Using incisions within the nose the large nasal bump can be shaved down, the broad nasal tip cartilages trimmed and reshaped. Intranasal glands and a deviated septum can be corrected simultaneously. This results in improved breathing as well as appearance. The nostrils can be thinned by incisions at the base. The resultant scars are typically difficult to notice.

A large percentage of male rhinoplasty can be performed under sedation with local anesthesia. The nose can be well anesthetized with proper local blocks. Post surgical pain is usually minimal to none. Younger men prefer to have the procedure under full anesthesia. Surgery lasts less than 2 hours with most men able to leave the house the following day. Small tapes and a splint are worn for one week.
